Snow days

Have been inundated with snow so much that I haven't had much free time.  I did finish a painting a show in Cape Cod and sent off the info so not totally unproductive.  Need to paint more with warm colors to keep out of the winter doldrums.

Gosh.  It's been a long time since I've posted anything.  Have been busy though.  I'm concentrating on oil painting now and really enjoying the process.  Today, I worked on a scene of a beach path which was good to counteract the chill in the air from all the snow we have on the ground here.  It is really trial and error with oils but I love the challenge.  Maybe it's the pastelist in me but I find myself using my fingers, paper towels and other tools besides just brushes.  Great fun.
